CLAUDIO CASTILLETTI

Didactically trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania in Scenography for New Media, he works as a set designer for Italian and foreign auteur films and has also realised several exhibition layouts with artists of European and international fame.
In 2015, he began a path of pictorial research into expressive freedom. He specialized in Visual Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vibo Valentia. One of his paintings is exhibited at the Limen Museum of Contemporary Art in Vibo Valentia, selected during the International Limen Arte competition.
Since 2016, he has been involved in ceremonial and reportage photography. He studied photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania.

Author of the book "La cerimonia come una vita", currently works as a Lecturer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania and photographer, lives between Catania and Comiso.He currently works as a teacher and photographer and lives between Catania and Comiso.

Group exhibitions:

2009 "L'arte donata", event aimed at raising funds for the construction of a Radiotherapy bunker at the Oncology Division of the Maria Paternò Arezzo Hospital in Ragusa;
2015 'Limen Arte International Prize'. One of the paintings produced is exhibited at the Limen Museum of Contemporary Art in Vibo Valentia. Curators Prof. Vincenzo Le Pera, Prof. Giorgio Di Genova, Prof. Lara Caccia, Prof. Giorgio Bonomi;
2017 participates in the photographic exhibition 'Comiso in un clic' with the patronage of the Municipality of Comiso;
2020 he exhibited in the collective art exhibition for the event 'BiscArt Festival' at the Castle of the Counts of Biscari in Acate under the patronage of the Municipality of Acate;
2020 exhibited in the collective 'Sine Die' in Catania at the Palazzo della Cultura. Photographic exhibition organised by the 'Oelle Foundation';
2020 exhibits at Palazzo Labisi in Comiso for the exhibition 'Terra' organised by Maestro Giovanni Pace;
2020 he exhibited in Faenza and Parma for the travelling exhibition 'Let's do It' sponsored by the Emilia Romagna Region;
2021 exhibits at Nero Art Gallery in Comiso in a photographic collection entitled 'Move To Trash';
2021 exhibits at Zona Blu in Milan in a three-man show entitled 'C€ No Conformity Guaranteed'.

Passionate about social media and graphic design, he specialized in Photography at the Academy of Fine Arts in Catania. He leaves it to his images to tell their story. He hates the absence of emotions within his photographs, predictability.
He has been Art director and Opinion leader in different national and international art conferences and exhibitions, as well as an exhibitor at solo and group exhibitions.
He teaches shooting and post-production practices in collaboration with AFI Associazione Fotografi Iblei, he has worked as a photographer in different important events.
His study and research in photography led him to follow the "New Italian Photography", investigating new aspects of the language of images, in particular the role of photography in the context of social networks.

It boasts the prestige of having photographed for Milan Fashion Week.

He currently works as a teacher and photographer and lives between Milan and Sicily.
